Patrick graduated from Carterville High School. Then continued his education at the University of Georgia, and afterwards went to Georgia State Law. While at the University of Georgia, Patrick was a four-year letterman on the baseball team becoming a captain of the team in his final year.

He is a certified Stretching and Flexibility Coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

In his free time, Patrick enjoys playing basketball and going to concerts. Spending time with his fiancé, Lindsey, as well as his children, Addison and Josephine, is never something Patrick takes for granted.
